Provide to sheep and cattle on summer grain crop residues to reduce nutritional deficiencies and problems. Adapt animals before they are permanently placed on crop residues, as follows:-
Give Maize Grazing Lick to animals for 7 to 14 days before being placed on crop residues.Initially, animals must start with short grazing periods on crop residues per day [day 1 - 15 minutes; day 2 - 30 minutes; day 3 - 45 minutes; day 4 and beyond, animals can be kept full time on crop residues.]Contains buffers to limit acidosis.Recommended intakes: -Sheep 200 to 300 grams per dayCattle 1 to 1½ kg per dayProvide fresh Maize Grazing Lick daily to ensure intake.
